GENERAL FORUM RULES

These rules apply to all forums and users throughout cielab ColourForums. Any breach of these rules may result in your account being suspended or permanently disabled. We log the IP addresses of our visitors to eliminate repeat offenders.

• No spamming, viral marketing, advertisements, trolling, notices for contests or request for referrals will be tolerated. Such posts and messages will be deleted immediately and the user's account suspended.
• Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
• Although we encourage discussions of the comparison between products, we try to keep our forums fair and civilised, and as such will not tolerate "brand bashing" or aggressive negative comments about any brand or product.
• Content of illegal, sexist, racist, pornographic, or any other potentially offensive nature posted on the forum or sent through the private message system is not allowed.

Avatars

Animated avatars are not allowed. Sorry.
Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.

Unfortunately there have been a number of breaches of our terms of service, and so over the last week we have both removed a lot of user accounts, and banned many by IP address to resolve the problem.

If you have been incorrectly banned or deleted within this period please contact cielab with your information and the details of your situation.
